Dr. Jeremy VanBoening was raised on a crop and livestock farm just east of Blue Hill, NE, where he attended Blue Hill Public High School. Jeremy was very active as an FFA member showing livestock in local and state competitions. Following graduation he attended the University of Nebraska- Lincoln and majored in Agricultural Sciences. After completing undergraduate studies Jeremy attended Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Upon graduation in 2002 he traveled to South Dakota for a year of clinical practice in North Country. In 2003 he and his wife Dr. Erin VanBoening, purchased Republican Valley Animal Center in Alma, NE. Dr. Jeremy is an AETA certified embryo transfer practitioner.
In his spare time he enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, most sporting activities, and spending time with his son, William.

Dr. Erin VanBoening is a native of Lincoln, NE, where she attended Lincoln Public High School. Erin chose to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she graduated in 1997 with a degree in Biological Sciences. In the fall of 1998, she moved to Manhattan, KS, to attend the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University. After graduation, she practiced for a year in Sioux Falls, SD, in an exclusive small animal practice. In 2003, she married her husband, Dr. Jeremy VanBoening, moved to Alma, and purchased Republican Valley Animal Center with him. She loves spending time with her son, William, and tries to find time for golf and gardening during the summer months.
